hello everyone I was confused on why we could only make a subclass i am not complaining but i have made several classes on paper and i want to put them in here also if you want me to create something for you i will have made it for you in one week i was wondering if wizards of the coast will notice this I also want to thank them for helping me with D&D for helping us get started i will make a vote and if they notice it and they see the vote do you want homebrew classes?
First thing of note; D&D Beyond is not owned nor run by Wizards of the Coast, it's an independent company.
Secondly, homebrew classes is something that has been asked for a lot in the past and the team are aware of the desire for it. People want homebrew classes, it's just not a simple undertaking. Remember that D&D Beyond offers digital, interactive character sheets, which means a lot of complex logic to support a class.
The thread only began this January, so you are not four years late. I doubt very much anything has changed. Homebrew classes are not something on the public list of "near term" goals/projects. It is my understanding/impression it is on the list of things they are considering, but there are a lot of other features that have higher priority. My guess is it will be a few years before homebrew classes are a thing here.
I will say while I appreciate that it isn't easy to implement, there are other apps out there that do support homebrew classes, it surely isn't so difficult that it can't be done,
while I would just switch to those other apps, I think beyond offers so much that I can't quite pass it up, but I would still love some kind of sign that it was on the way. I can't honestly say that I'm happy to stick with beyond if it isn't, eventually I want an easy way to include my homebrew.

ok thank you for letting me know
Hi there! Found this while looking for some answers. Thank you for the reply to his comment! (I know I'm about 4 years late).
Though I was wondering, since it has been a while has anything changed? Are there any plans or talk for that to be implemented into DnDBeyond yet?
