So I was messing around making a Paladin and noticed that there is only one Oath to choose from, but in the Player’s Handbook there are three to choose from. So I looked at the note that said to look at the marketplace for additional content and it wants me to buy that stuff when I already own the handbook. So my question is, is there any way to get the additional content by proving you already own the handbook so I don’t have to buy the same stuff twice?

No, unfortunately, a physical purchase doesn't grant you rights to the corresponding digital content.

Note that if you know what oath you want, you don't have to buy the whole book: you can just buy the subclass you want for $1.99
