I only have a few books left to complete my sourcebook collection and I'm assuming the bundle option takes those already purchased into account. However, when I went to check the bundle pricing, it was about $45.00 more than if I bought the remaining material individually.
This seems off, albiet misleading as bundle assumes discount, or am I wrong. I've emailed twice and gotten the answer "working as intended" but I still don't think that is correct.
If you purchased any of your books when they were running a sale then the discounted price of those books is what gets counted against the bundle price, not the full value of those books. If you simply purchased the other books then the price for the bundle should likely drop to the $2 minimum purchase price and you would secure your future discounts for purchasing the bundle.
Here is what I'm seeing. The sourcebook Bundle is Quoting me $200.44 for my remaining books. But If I add the books Individually, the total is $154.93. Shouldn't the bundle "at least" match to cost of the remaining books? Some people might not do that math and could be over paying by purchasing the bundle thinking its cheaper.
The way their previous purchase credit system works is it takes the cost of the bundle and subtracts the amount you have already spent on its contents from that price.
So if a 4 book bundle is 100$ and you buy 3 books for 30$ each, the bundle is adjusted to 10$ for the last book. But if you got those books on sale for 20$ each, the bundle costs 40$ for 1 book. That's basically what happened either you can buy the bundle and have spent the same amount of money overall, or buy just the remaining books and have gotten the bundle for less than its price.
Like Sposta said, I think they manually put in a way to get the bundle discount for new books after buying all the books in it because of situations like this.
