Not sure if this has been asked and answered, but I recently placed an order for the new bundle coming out, however when I looked as my bank account, I see only about a third of the cost withdrawn. Why wasn't the full amount pulled and when can we expect the rest withdrawn?
The whole bundle is 179.99 and depending on the state sales tax comes in around $185. It looks like they waived shipping for the cost of the order.
The individual costs on the books / digital are 49.99 and 29.99 x3. Now with the $60 discount, lets assume that comes to 60/6 = $10 off each price so 39.99 and 19.99 respectively.
Now I got charged ~$67 at the point of sale when my charge went through, this doesn't jibe with the notion that I only got charged for the PHB physical & digital because the $7 discrepancy is more tax than my receipt shows I should have been charged for the whole bundle. Since the shipping is showing waived on the receipt, if the discount is applied equally, it should be like $62.
Now, I have seen a new charge this week of approximately ~$40. This doesn't conform to the pricing of the next book, the DMG. So this has confused the issue.
When I paid for the bundle, the payment screen did not give me any indication that this payment was going to be parceled out into multiple payments, and my receipt in the new marketplace does not indicate that it is being paid out in multiple payments. So, it looks nefarious because I have no way of tracking which of these payments apply to the original total of 179.99 + tax. I am going to have to watch carefully to match up these payments to ensure that I am not overcharged due to the way they are handling it.
The least we can get is an official statement from management on what is up here. The way this payment is being processed without due notification is pretty unprofessional and gives the impression of potential malfeasance.

We were billed initially for all the digital. The second charge is the physical PHB.

The way this is being processed is entirely normal. If you order from Amazon, and one of your things is delayed and they ship the rest separately, you are not billed for the delayed thing until it ships. They're not allowed to take your money until they send you a product. The digital books are product licenses which were added to your account immediately, so they're allowed to bill immediately even though they're not yet available, or something.
the Amazon thing is true but on Amazon I can go to my order details and see the sub payments. The marketplace here does not allow that.
the lack of transparency is the issue. Considering all the customer service issue, especially with physical releases in the last two years, this lack of transparency is pretty unprofessional.
I also just placed an order for the Digital/Physical bundle, which with tax and a free shipping came to a pending charge of $186.72. I then received Another charge of $49.99 for the physical Players Handbook, but it makes it appear as though this is On Top of the already existing $186.72. My account shows Both pending charges separately. So yeah, i cant yet tell if im being over charged or not either.

This is the closest thing I have seen to an official response regarding this issue.

Except that is not really a definitive answer.

Yes the digital thing tracks.
