So for my NPC I decided to use spells and post the descriptions for them under the spell they can cast so I don't have to look up the description for a spell each round but it was rejected for "copyrighted descriptions/spells". So how would I have an easy way of viewing the descriptions of spells and stuff that are copyrighted? Do I have to buy the PH or DMG in order to use the spells? Is there any easy way to access the descriptions/rules for the spell without getting rejected?
put the name of the spell in question between [ spell] and [ /spell] (without the spaces), and your NPC will then have a tool tip of the spell that you can hover over to see some details, or click to open the full description page.
Thank you, you're a big help! EDIT: How do I do it? It doesn't do it When I put the spell in between the tags. For example; [ spell] (spell I want, all lowercase no spaces in between) [ /spell ] it doesn't work

The spell name itself doesn't have to be lowercase and if it has spaces you need to include the spaces. For example Hideous Laughter.
Just a note - if you havent purchased the spells that aren't part of the SRD/Basic Rules, you still won't be able to see the details. The homebrew you create can be used, however you cannot publish them for others.
Currently there is no way to tooltip homebrew creations into a Monster stat block. If you create your NPCs as characters though, you will have your homebrew creation available to add to the character sheet.

but when I do [ spell]Blade Ward[ /spell] it doesn't work?
Try that exact same
[ spell]Blade Ward[ /spell]
but remove the spaces inside the square brackets, which gives this:
Blade Ward

Wary the wizard who focuses on homebrew, for he can create nightmares that you wouldn't even dream of
So If I purchase the player handbook, does that mean I have all the spells? Would that be buying the srd?
Ah I see I need to purchase the Player's Handbook for the spells tow work. Thanks for all the help, I hope you guys have a good night/day!
or you can buy the individual spells if you don't want the whole players handbook.
yah, but I'm kind of covering for a whole party, so.. It's probably better to get the PH anyway.
