I have spells from the other books such as XGTE and SCAG that I cannot add to the spell list because I do not own the books on Beyond. I do not need to see the spells but would still like to be able to select them. The fact that I cannot select the spells to be added onto the spell class list limits me greatly and I cannot effectively move my home-brew content onto Beyond for others to see.

Adding this would make home-brewing easier and more attractive then just spreading out PDFs or using other D&D sites.

When you create a spell you can choose what class spelllists it will appear on. When you make a character and have the Homebrew switch turn on you will see the homebrew spell in the list of available spells.

I'm asking for SCAG and XGTE spells to be available for selection even if you don't the book. I'm not asking about homebrew spells. please read my feedback fully so you understand my plight.

You can buy just the spells from those books for a fraction of the price or you can homebrew those spells. 

If your concern is that you can not share a homebrew race/subclass that has added a homebrew spell to it, don't be. You can't publish a homebrew that has a spell not in the SRD anyway.

 If you would like SCAG and XGTE spells you will need to purchase them from the marketplace, or add them to the system yourself using the homebrew system. Those books and their contents are not available for free.

oh sorry I did not see your comment in my notifications thank you for giving me actual information. I guess I'll be keeping my homebrew content on other sites instead of Beyond

You can still create the homebrew here, but you can't publish them. You can still use and/or share unpublished homebrew with players in your campaigns though.
