So last night my players discovered a couple of potions. They determined the potions are magical, but they don't know exactly what type of potion they have. Is there a way on the DnDbeyond character sheet to add these items to the character inventory without giving away the type of potions the group has picked up?

You can homebrew a generic potion with a description of its appearance, and then swap it for the real thing when they learn what it is.

You can add custom (non-homebrew) items to the character sheet in manage equipment sidebar.
WOW!
I completely missed the custom item on the sidebar-- this is a huge timesaver. Thanks much!
