I am experimenting to create a Human War Cleric using Human Variant Traits. The Variant is right beneath the Human option and it seems great, works OK so far (I did not find it before).
The point now is that I can not select War domain when creating my cleric; I have only Life Domain as option.
Does anybody, by any chance, know how to get the war domain for a cleric?
I would appreciate some "guidance" in here.
Second point: after creating the characters how do we "play", I mean we need to look through the forums for some other adventurers and DM to join a campaign?
Thank you for your post - we appreciate people taking the time to give us feedback.
During the beta test of D&D Beyond, we'll only be including content that is freely available from Wizards of the Coast, including the D&D 5th edition SRD , D&D 5th edition Basic Rules, Elemental Evil Companion and potentially others. The beta will not include additional content from a Commercially Released Book, Module or Supplement.
What this means is, you only have the Life Domain to select from currently.
All of the remaining published content from the PHB, DMG, MM and other D&D 5th edition books will be added to D&D Beyond for product release - the cost for accessing this material has just been announced.
Thanks for the reply. After reading the announcement it was OK. I guess, Wizards of the Coast is doing its own version of "Roll20" and "Fantasy Grounds" and the price is cheaper.
Maybe you are not going to offer the same resources, i.e. graphics, at the beginning as they have, but, maybe as a suggestion, you should think about offering the one-time pricing subscription, especially for DM Tier.
Fantasy Grounds have this option; you download the program to your computer, while Roll20 doesn't work this way. It seems WIzards model will be like Roll20......
Anyway, as we can buy Fantasy Grounds through STEAM, often we get good deals, like the one on this weekend (they are offering 25% OFF for one-time-pricing).That should be very nice if for us, players and DMs we could get a very good deal from you, at least for a limited time
That should be very nice for us, players and DMs, if we could get a very good deal from you, at least for a limited time when you release all Beyond contents. These days, with all subscriptions we need to pay to play in different sites, sometimes I miss the old times. The point is, finding nice players to get a group it is difficult in real life and using systems like yours seems easier.
I will be waiting for August, as I will be waiting for September for Tomb of Annihilation book and the exclusive set of dice. (Damm, I need to find a second job to make more money to afford playing, LOL).
Sorry if this is extremely random but I'm kind of stuck. How do I create a new thread to a conversation?

When you go to the forum, after choosing with topic you would like to partake look up to the right side of your screen, just below the bar with the DnD Beyond logo and with the icons for its sections and you will notice 3 buttons. The first one on the left is the one for New Thread. Click there and you open the thread. Write your comment/thread and don't forget to post it at the end, so your thread will be active in that section.
I hope I can help.
Have a nice day.
