How about for the last 2 weeks before release, beta version is opened up to include PHB, SCAG & Volos. At the moment I'm not too impressed with SRD options and I suspect once the other sources are added, it will be riddled with bugs as it's complicated enough with pen and paper, nevermind software.
Wait, someone wants to expand me? I just bought new jeans!
There has been teams of staff crosschecking the data of the different source books in their compendium format, a lot has already been picked up. As has been mentioned before, the team don't want to give something and take it away, plus the kerfuffle that would have with people potentially copying and never paying for the access.

That would allow everyone to copy those sources for their homebrew collections so... you know... probably not.

I strongly suspect that this wouldn't be allowed, even if the D&D Beyond staff wanted to, due to the licensing deal with Wizards of the Coast.
I understand your idea EvilGeniusRetired, but simply put, WotC as a company can't stay in business if they give away all of their products for free.
