I noticed recently with the character sheet update that some class and racial features which grant advantage on skill checks have granted flags for advantage visibly in the character sheet. Recently made a Changeling Rogue with the Actor feat where the advantage flags that should be placed by the Actor feat did not appear. Not too terribly troubling since I had to remember the multiple advantages my Rune Knight had prior, but this is a new function that has worked flawlessly for me up until this case. Perhaps the Actor data block doesn't actually have the advantage tag added to its bonuses section? More a callout to the devs as an issue that may also exist with other data as they add these functions than anything else.
The Actor feat does not give permanent advantage in those Skills, only situational (temporary) advantage. They have not quite yet implemented temporary effects to the character sheet.
Actually, temporary bonuses are probably easier to implement than situational ones like actor. Especially since the skills section is much smaller than the saves section which lists the situational advantages separate.

This is also untrue, thinking of items like the Eyes of Minute Seeing, which grant advantage if you are observing at 1 foot or closer, but is still tagged with advantage in the sheet.

Right, but one cannot ever “turn it off” so it is permanently (as opposed to temporarily) listed there as Advantage. That could potentially lead to other errors since the occasions to which it should be applied are far fewer than occasions it should not.
To be clear, I am not saying either way is objectively any more or less correct than the other. I am also not saying that either one is subjectivelybetter than the other. All I was pointing out is that there is currently no way for features like that to only display when applicable and not display when not applicable. They are either “permanently” always or never displayed. They are not ever “temporarily” displayed.
Whoever did data entry for some of those features decided (or were instructed) differently than the person or persons who did the data entry for the other ones. The primary issue with this (among other things) seems to be inconsistency. If everything that allowed a bonus under specific circumstances but not others all used the same format it would simply be clearer for all involved.
