I'm fairly new to 5e, having recently bought the Essentials Kit.  I used the included code to unlock the Dragon of Icespire Peak adventure here on D&D beyond, and it has come in very handy so far.  I'm also planning to use the continuation quests that are posted here.  I just have one wishlist item:

I wish that all of the rules printed in the Essentials Kit rulebook were also unlocked online using the same code.  I'm thinking specifically of the subclasses.   The freely available rules on dndbeyond have one canon subclass each, while the EK rulebook has two.  It would be great if I could access the extra subclasses from the EK here on dndbeyond using the same unlock code that I used for the EK adventure.  

The essentials kit comes with  50% discount for the PHB where the additional options are found.

Note: the kit is technically sold at a loss, the idea is to generate more new players that will be inclined to make future full purchases, which will recover the loss and even make profit.

There's only so much they can give for free.

If you want a digital version of the extra subclasses you can buy them, use the discount to get PHB half-price or you can use the homebrew tools to recreate them for free for private use in your campaign.

It's already beyond generous, let's leave it at that.
