Hey everyone, I recently ran into a problem where one of my PC's over encumbered a Bag of Holding by filling it with 420lbs of loot on top of what was already in the bag. I allowed them to recon this by leaving some of it behind and made sure he took better notes on his loot but I was wondering if there was any plans to allow us to organise our equipment by showing us what's stored in what bags vs on the character, also by us seeing how much is currently in each container.

The system was requested a long time ago, and the roadmap still lists it with no discernible date.
D&D Beyond doesn't do dates for upcoming features or work. However, it was mentioned in the last Dev Update by Adam that the inventory management update was looking good for 2020

Good news. Inventory management is my #1 request in new features.
I look forward to 1 less side spreadsheet for my wizard.

To clarify: DaveDamon's comment was from back in February. More recent Dev Updates have not mentioned inventory management as much, and I have the impression that it has probably slid into 2021 as a target. Please note: this is my impression only, NOT anything official.

Yes, there are plans for an inventory management system. :)

Any update on this? There still isn't an inventory/bag management system almost 2 years later.
2 years later from what...? This was posted yesterday?
