They've been pushing for a gifting option for some time, but it's a surprising difficult thing to get off the ground. I wouldn't be surprised if there aren't a lot of regulations you have to meet when offering a transferable value service
Maybe, particularly because of the online nature of the product meaning things could transfer globally. But one would think simply being able to purchase a credit for someone else similar to a gift certificate would be less of a hassle. 🤷♂️ Who knows anymore? The whole world has lost it’s mind, maybe buying stuff to give to other people has gotten just that complicated these days.
I would also use this feature to gift materials to friends, and family members would use it to give me books and online materials. I've requested the "of everything" books for holiday gifts on Amazon, but it seems ridiculous not to buy them here when they can more easily be incorporated into my campaigns. Please implement a gift card/certificate/code feature! It seems ridiculous that this doesn't exist here.

Hello,
Any chance on developing the ability to gift books or dice?
My D&D group generally loves gift dice as gifts, but one of our members only likes the D&D Beyond dice rolling feature.
We want to gift him some dice sets, but doesn't seem there is an option for this yet.
Any chance to see this soon in devleopment?

I also would like this feature. At least a couple of my friends, and we all play online these days, would appreciate gifts of DDB content.
WOTC lies. We know that WOTC lies. WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. We know that WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. And still they lie.
Because of the above (a paraphrase from Orwell) I no longer post to the forums -- PM me if you need help or anything.

Yeah and I was going to gift Tasha's to my players but 2 of them pre-bought it (maybe 3) so it was not worth doing.
And I am NOT gifting digital dice. Those are just silly.

Yes, please. I would LOVE to be able to give people books, dice, credit towards a subscription.
You can already gift dice and books (this feature has been live fire a while)
