Whenever using a pearl of power the only method to keep track of restored spell slots in DnD beyond seems to be to manually uncheck a used one.
For my warlock that has a pearl of power attuned this hasn't been an issue up until 6th level, since he only had spell slots of level ≤3. Starting level 7 warlocks do however only have spell slots of level ≥4. This means I have to manually keep track of the restored slots, since the pearl of power "downgrades" higher level spell slots to level 3.
I'd really appreciate it if you could implement some sort of temporary spell slot or a "downgrade" option for existing ones that can be triggered when using the pearl (e.g. via a "use" button at the pearl of power itself or via a dropdown menu next to the spell slots).
Yes, one of the players in the campaign I am currently DMing has this exact same issue. She just remembers the difference and remembers to “downcast” her spell, but it would be a heck of a lot easier for her if she didn’t.
