Last night my group encountered a bug with certain standard magic items not being accessible to add to our characters' inventory. Our characters are all in a campaign with content sharing turned on by the DM, he definitely owns the content for the book in which these items appear.
We each received a Potion of Invulnerability, and it just wasn't appearing in the list for 3/4 players to add to their inventory.
I haven't been through the entire list of magic items, but filtering by Potions I checked against my own hard copy of the DMG and I'm missing from the list:
Potion of Climbing
Potion of Fire Breath
Potion of Invulnerability
Potion of Longevity
I'm unsure what exactly stops these from showing up, whether I have a bad setting in my character sheet or something, but I figured since these are all basic DMG items - they should be showing for me to add to my character's inventory?
I also DMed a campaign for this same group with the content sharing turned on by the same person, and on a whim I just checked their character sheets - I can see all of these items in the list to add to their inventories. I assume from this it's somehow a character setting, but I'm not seeing what the difference might be.

Have the person who turned on content sharing turn it off and back on again.

Thank you - I'll suggest that to him and we'll give that a try :)
This seems to have fixed the issue, thank you!
