Hello literally my first day using this and I ran into an issue. My group is trying to take a game already in progress and move it to D&D beyond. I have a very simple custom magic weapon on my character and remade it as a homebrew item, but I can't find a way to add it to my character. In the item's page it says I have a required field not filled out, but that field is one of the ones for a magic item, not a weapon. If I switch it to item and back to weapon, the asterisk clears, but the second I save it switches back. I'm guessing this is why I can't find it, cause its considered not complete or something? Still this is very frustrating, are there any known fixes for this?

Can you be more specific about what this “custom magic weapon” is/does, and what field you are being told isn’t filled out?
Also, do you have homebrew turned on (Red) on the home page of the character builder?

The weapon is just a +1 glaive that does an extra 1d4 lightning damage.
And wait, turning it to red means a thing is on? I guess thats my problem, I assumed red was off. Thats pretty confusing.
Just tried again and it works. Thanks for the help, sorry for being such a noob
