I just started having this issue too. I first noticed it Friday night a little before our Roll20 game started. I played from a Windows machine using Chrome just fine. Chrome also seems to work on my Mac.
Running same versions as Curtosee above
macOS 10.15.7 Safari 15.1
Character sheets cannot be pulled up. I also noticed I cannot bring up any Marketplace pages for digital dice. I assume whatever is going on is related to the dice code since you can roll those from your character sheet.
I could be wrong, but I spent a good 1 to 2 minutes of debugging (i.e. clicking around) 😁

I'm still having issues with this. It seems to be related to a specific combination of macOS and Safari.
macOS Catalina Version 10.15.7
Safari Version 15.1
Cannot pull up dndbeyond character sheets
macOS Big Sur Version 11.6.1
Safari Version 15.1
Pulls up dndbeyond character sheets without issue
