Starting this morning I've been having problems loading character sheets. For me, this is only happening on MacOS & Safari. My one test on my iPad did work this morning.
Turning on the Javascript Console I see a slightly varying combination of resources, they seem to all be "character-tools" scripts, etc, and the error is: Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 ()
I have updated Safari to version 15, but this was about a week ago, and I've been able to load character sheets since then.
Note: I have done the basics, quit and restarted browser; cleared cache; deleted the DDB site cookies; restarted my Mac. All to no avail.
There are several threads on this and it's not working even if add ons are deleted. Some Chrome browsers seem to be affected. I'll try Firefox see if that helps.

Firefox works so at least I don't have to look at my phone screen. :-)
I haven’t checked on my laptop, so I cannot speak to MacOS, but I do know that iOS just recently had a security update and since them my phone has been… stupid. Not all the way stupid, but not as smart as it was pre-update. I can still load character sheets, etc on Safari for the iOS, but DDB in particular has been muuucch slower to load pages. Really any pages, even these forums, PMs, and the homebrewer.
(I had figured that something to do with whatever new security features the OS has are giving a harder time to DDB’s bot detectors and other verification features. I could very well be mistaken, but that was my theory. 🤷♂️)

Hello IamSposta,
From what I have been seeing online outside of DNDB, iOS15 is riddled with problems. I have seen very little of these issues myself, but they are apparently fairly common. I hope the Devs here can get some patch together for you, but it may have to be a fix on iOS15.1.
Thank you, yes, I am aware. I figured it was an Apple problem and not a DDB problem. I’m just waiting patiently for things outside of my control. (That ain’t always easy for me. I was born without a patients gland and needed one implanted from a donor in elementary school. It isn’t quite as strong as most people’s, so it’s a struggle on occasion (especially in traffic), but I GM get by.)
Experiencing the same problem on macOS Catalina; I can view shared character sheets, but not my own.
The crashing is definitely a new issue as I updated Safari several days ago, and it was working fine yesterday (though like IamSposta says it's been very slow, likey the pages aren't rendering properly). However today it is crashing the tab every time I try to view one of my characters.
The weirdest part is that this only affects my own character sheets; if I view someone else's character (shared or part of a campaign) it seems to work fine.
This made me think the the crashing issue specifically might be related to the digital dice roller, but after turning off dice roller support for a character using another browser (Brave Browser) then trying again in Safari it didn't seem to fix it, though it's possible that disabling dice rolling doesn't actually stop it loading (just disables it on the page)? Dice rolling would make sense since it's a complex graphical component, and these can be delivered as web assembly which could potentially crash a browser process (shouldn't but might)?

Been having this issue using Safari 15 on all my Macs for the past 72 hours. Used to work fine before this. I was able to load my character sheet via Chrome.

I think you could be right about the dice roller.. I seem to recall complaints that it loaded whether you wanted it to or not, it was just ‘hidden'
I don't know that the issue was caused by the Safari updated to version 15.0. That update was on September 20, and I did not start having the problem until October 1.

Many people are having the same issue. I believe a mod has replied to another thread saying they've passed the issue to the dev team.
Having the same issue. Really need those character sheets today.
Can you use a different browser? It seems to be a Safari specific issue.

Nothing seems to work on the computer. It does work on the app so I guess I will be using my phone
What browsers have you tried? On what operating system?
Do you use a VPN? An add blocker? any browser extensions? If so, try turnin them off and see if that helps.

This has been a problem for over 24 hours now, hopefully the devs can sort it out soon.

It was working fine two days ago, and I've been on Safari 15 for weeks without any updates. Something has changed on DDB, for the worse.

I'm not having any problems in iOS; only in Safari.

Hi there,
the character sheet devs are aware of these reports and are looking into this.
Thanks for reporting the issue and providing information.
