I have a multiclassed Eldritch Knight 7, War Wizard 4. This gives a multiclassed caster level of 6. 4/3/3 spell slots. When i go to add spells i dont see the option of 3rd level spells to add. Even though it shows i have 3rd level spell slots.
Spells Known and Prepared. You determine what spells you know and can prepare for each class individually, as if you were a single-classed member of that class. If you are a ranger 4/wizard 3, for example, you know three 1st-level ranger spells based on your levels in the ranger class. As 3rd-level wizard, you know three wizard cantrips, and your spellbook contains ten wizard spells, two of which (the two you gained when you reached 3rd level as a wizard) can be 2nd-level spells. If your Intelligence is 16, you can prepare six wizard spells from your spellbook.
Each spell you know and prepare is associated with one of your classes, and you use the spellcasting ability of that class when you cast the spell. Similarly, a spellcasting focus, such as a holy symbol, can be used only for the spells from the class associated with that focus.
If a cantrip of yours increases in power at higher levels, the increase is based on your character level, not your level in a particular class.
You might have third level spell slots, but you only know spells of a 4th level wizard.
That's working as intended. Your spells that you know are treated as if you were only an Eldritch Knight 7 (5 spells known of 1st or 2nd level), and the spells in your spellbook are treated as if you were only a War Wizard 4 (8 1st, and 4 that can be 1st or 2nd, assuming you haven't found others to copy during play). Being multi-classed only gives you higher-level spell slots to up-cast your spells with.
But as a wizard you should be able to add spells to your spellbook for which you have spell slots.
So if I find a spell that I have a spell slot for I should be able to add it to my spellbook, that doesn't seem to be an option in dndbeyond
I can add any number of spells to my wizard character here. Is your wizard multiclassed? (I ask due to the name of the thread) If so, multiclassed as what? How are you trying to add spells?

It's an eldritch knight that is multiclassed as a wizard. I have access to higher spell slots than I am allowed to select from. I came across a spell (in the campaign) that was of a level for which I have spell slots and I wanted to add it to my spellbook. When I tried accessing the spells of that level to add to my spellbook on dndbeyond I didn't see the option for spells of that level.
I have an eldritch knight (4fighter/2wizard), I want to add misty step to my spellbook but I can't get 2nd level spells through the website.

You need to have spells slots of the class for that spell - in this case, to learn a 2nd level wizard spell, you need to have a second level wizard slot (ie be at least level 3 in wizard) - this is one of the trade-offs with multi classing

When multi-classed, the learning (including by putting into a spell book) and preparing of spells is done as if you were not multi-classed. That means your eldritch knight spells are subject to the rules as though you were only an eldritch knight and only 4th level, and your wizard spells are subject to the rules as though you were only a wizard and only 2nd level.
As a result of that, you can't learn 2nd level spells yet.
The combining of levels from different classes and figuring out what spell slots you have available according to the chart is only for the purpose of casting those spells - not learning (including by putting into a spell book) or preparing them.
