So I know that there was already a post on this topic, and took it's advice, as I went through my homebrew subclass that I want to publish, and edited the spells so that they were only taken from the "Basic Rules", but when I go to publish it, it says that there's still data mapped to private homebrew or licensed content, even though I made the rest of the abilities myself.
The only links I have are the links to the extended spells, but even then they all only like to spells from the basic rules. Would that still cause the data map restrictions?

Yes, he litterally said so in the post, your supposed to use tooltips, not links.
Like this fireball ( The format being this [ spell]fireball[ /spell] remove the spaces)
1. Check any spells and similar things added by modifiers (including the Spells section) are all from the Basic Rules or Elemental Evil sources.
2. Check any links - use tooltips if possible. note that if you have copy and pasted something with a tooltip from somewhere else, the tooltip gets converted into a link instead - you will need to remove and re-add as a toolstop.
3. Save using the orange save button.
If problem persists please post link to the homebrew.

It's not just about links. It can also be things like Spells you've added.

I've had this issue too ever since the last series of updates even using the [ spell]spell[ /spell] link format and with using spells on the Basic list I still get this error.

Tooltips like that have no effect. You can put all the tooltips you like for anything and it won't cause an error.
When I mention spells I mean ones added in the Spells section further down.

Do you have any url links in your subclass or feature descriptions? Even if they link to DDB, that counts as "mapped data".

My homebrew content: Monsters, subclasses, Magic items, Feats, spells, races, backgrounds
I misunderstood then what he meant by links, as that is the format I used for the spells.

Anything in the Description edit box that has a hyperlink (like this link) instead of a tooltip will count as an "external link".
(By the way, I'm not a "he".)

Thank you! I forgot to check the spell section, so that was my screw up there.
Fixed the issue, also sorry, didn't mean to misgender you!
It's fine, you weren't the one who made the pronoun mistake.

I am having a similar problem with the DND website saying there is licensed data mapped to my homebrew but I have no links at all. Please help.

This should now be fixed! You may need to edit the subclass first and hit the main save button to re-trigger the validator.
