I should say, there’s no guarantee they will arrange a refund. Officially, their policy is that purchases are not refundable. But there has been some indication in the forum that they make exceptions to that. Although that may be different now that DDB is owned by WOTC.

You can read the full terms of sales (which I linked) but there is no stipulation for refund under any circumstance, including updates to products.
