I have several encounters set up for my campaign, but recently they stopped functioning correctly. Whenever I click on certain monsters (most of them) it immediately gives me a prompt to submit a crash report. It seems like the only monster unaffected seem to be free content. The only reason I can think of is I recently was unsubscribed briefly. Would that have interfered with the encounter at all?
Just letting folks know I am having this issue with Custom Monsters. Some custom monsters work fine but others cause this exact crash issue.
The custom monsters used the Dullahan base profile & death's head profile. Even when creating a monster from scratch, but copying/pasting the abilities does not fix the issue.
I did some tests. The problem seems to be due to monsters missing... he Alignment field. Give your creatures an Alignment other than -- and see if it works.
And the devs need to fix it so that unset Alignment fields don't crash the Encounter Builder!

This is the response I got from the support team today:
16:15 CST "The team have advised me they have released a fix for the issue impacting monsters without an Alignment causing an error within the Encounters toolset. You shouldn't experience the issue any further. Thanks for reporting this so the team could investigate and resolve."
17:41 CST "The teams have rolled back the previous fix due to it causing an error with tracking HP - once this has been resolved, I'll advise."
This does seem to be fixed, however it happens periodically instead of constantly. When going back and forth between monsters, it will randomly still crash. FYI.

Any particular creatures it tends to happen on?

This has been happening to me as well since Thursday night. I've tried different browsers, removed addons, etc. Nothing works.
I have a ticket in on this and the staff have been communicating with me. I will update once anything else new happens.
Has there been any update on this? This is still happening. How do I enter a support ticket?

I am still working with the support team on this. A team member created an encounter under my account and they are troubleshooting this.
Please list any monsters this happens with, and from what source, and I will pass it on to the team.
The monsters that I'm having trouble with are all custom. They are entirely custom, not copies of other creatures.
Is linking them still helpful?
It could be helpful. I know that the main issue seems to be related to monsters from Van Richten's and Candlekeep.
I have not had a problem with any of my hombrew monsters...yet.
Was making multiple homebrew npcs for an encounter and this problem persists for a majority of them.
Wereraven from Curse of Strahd is doing the same thing for me. No stat block just a Report link. (I own CoS)
I will pass it on. Please use the Report Feedback button that you get in the encounter builder to send a report.
Thank you, I've hit the report feedback button but it doesn't do anything.

Today's response. It looks like it has been resolved, I know it works for me:
16:54 CST "Alright, the team have finally been able to banish the problem (without summoning other rogue issues as well). Thanks again for reporting!"
