I've designed a monster known as The Charred Jabberwock that I cannot publish because its too similar to something called: Warlock of Lord Cals. this creature does not exist and the embedded link brings me to a 404 page not found. How do I get around this?
You will need to submit a support ticket. This is an issue I’ve seen reported a few times, with different nonexistent monsters/items/etc listed as the reason. Fixing it requires access/tools only the support folks have, if I remember correctly. Plus, it will help them track down the ultimate cause. Just be patient, please. The support folks don’t work weekends. And don’t submit multiple tickets for the same issue, as that bogs the system down.
I haven't delt with this particular message. But similar messages is because it doesn't have a proper description or wasn't saved (by clicking save) after adding a description.
Also, I'd guess the non-existent content is upcoming and they are creating false flags because your missing description matches its missing description.
I sometimes get false positives when I'm not allowed to publish homebrew. The website would always think that it's too similar to Barnibus Blastwind and Dapra Deepforge (I don't remember how either of those are spelled, those are guesses). For subclasses, it will sometimes say it's too similar to Circle of Spores. I would click on the link, and the content that the website is accusing me of being too similar to looks nothing like what I'm making. I don't know why this happens, but I noticed that it reoccurs with incomplete homebrew. That's when most text boxes aren't filled.

It's caused by not having text in the Description field (and Short Description field if applicable) in the Basic Information on the main edit page for the homebrew. At least 4-5 words should suffice. Then, you must click [Save Changes].
