I made a Forest Gnome Character that I am using as a School Of Illusion Wizard as his class. So the Improved Minor Illusion should give me access to a different cantrip because I already know Minor Illusion through the Forest Gnome race. Yet, during character creation, I am unable to select another cantrip, and when accessing the sheet, Minor Illusion appears on my spell list twice. I have the character sheet if you want to look for yourself. I would add a screenshot but I don't know how to do it in this particular editor.

This is a known issue. A common workaround is homebrewing a copy of Forest Gnome with the Minor Illusion changed to a choice of wizard cantrip.

Thanks for letting me know. Unfortunately this is for an online game, so I'll have to check with the runners to make sure it won't be a problem.
Other options include homebrewing a feat or a magic item to give you the cantrip, in case your DM is more comfortable with that.
