Whenever I go to this site's homepage when there's a Twitch stream featured, my browser crashes within a few seconds, which I believe is the time needed to load the stream.

You're able to get on Dndbeyond on your Xbox. Thats dope!
Also, I don't know if this would be relevant to your issue, but I know that twitch is changing the way that their Livestreams are supported on consoles and apps (even within computers) to force people to visit their website more. It may have something to do with those changes twitch is doing.

Starting with the seventh generation (Wii, PS3, 360, NDS, PSP), video game consoles have had their own Internet browser built-in. They weren't really good, especially the handheld ones, until the eighth generation (Wii U, Switch, PS4, One, 3DS, Vita), although the 3DS wasn't really good. The current generation (PS5, Series) is even better. Smart TVs also have their own Internet browser, but they're usually really bad and incompatible with most stuff, even Wikipedia. Surprisingly, D&D Beyond works on my TV browser, but it's very slow and not all functionalities are working. But hey, at least it doesn't crash on the homepage! The Twitch stream simply refuses to load.
Since the Xbox One, Microsoft Edge on console is identical as on PC, although some functionalities, like downloading files, are disabled. You can even play HTML5 browser games, including emulation (NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, PS1, GB, GBA, NDS, etc.) on it. The console also supports mouse and keyboard controls. Even my very old Apple keyboard is supported, which was surprising considering my LG TV doesn't support it. Browsing the Internet on a huge screen (mine is OLED 65" 4K) is fun. Apart from the Twitch stream bug, this website works really well on my Xbox.

I remember visiting another website that had an embedded Twitch stream a few months ago and it didn't crash on my Xbox. The website in question has since switched to a different streaming service, which works fine, so I couldn't test it now. I tried looking for another website with an embedded Twitch stream, but couldn't find one. The Twitch website itself works fine on my Xbox. By the way, this website's homepage doesn't crash on Android 6.0 devices such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2. The Twitch stream takes a long time to load (tablet has 3 GB of RAM), but is nonetheless working properly.
