Ah, I had known they were also in MotM, but I hadn't known they were removed from their respective original books (as purchasable races to use in character builder). As I was intending to use their old builds, that's pretty disappointing.

Can confirm the exact text and features of the races in WbtW and MMM are identical. You're not missing or "losing" anything.
Understood. I had been hoping there was some of the old style flavor to those races that I might be able to retain if I got the race bundles from their non-MotM books, but after checking Owlin it looks like they're all the same new style... not gonna lie, pretty disappointed. But at least the mystery has been solved for me. Thanks.

Was shopping around, loading up my cart with some of the more recent races.
Went past Strixhaven to get the Owlin? No problem. Go to Wild Beyond the Witchlight for Harengon & Fairy? Hmm, no race bundle.
What's going on?
The Fairy and Haregon races are now keyed to Monsters of the Multiverse, so you need to buy them from there.
