I'm pretty new to Homebrewing, I've always used house rules until recently when I wanted to make a werebear character. It was working for a little but, had natural armor because it can't use armor when Hybrid or Bear, but for some reason when I was making a Feat for it to be able to shapeshift freely instead of being locked in Hybrid like it should be for the first few levels the race changed. Now it doesn't recognize the ability score increase or the natural armor bonus, even when I remove the feat and revert the test character sheet back to level one. I don't know why this happened or how to change it back, but it's a little annoying of an issue.
For a bit more information, I made a werebear barbarian because it seems most natural and it was working well with the natural armor being 13+Con Mod and a +2 Str and +1 Con. When I was working on the Feat the AC was 16 with 17 Str and 16 Con, then I went to add the feat then the AC was reduced to 14 and both of the abilities were reduced to 15. Even after I removed the Feat. I'm thinking about just wiping the whole template and starting over, but I could just use some information on how to get unarmored bonuses to work and how to get the ability score improvements to stick because that was my biggest issue.
I'm not exactly sure what the issue is. I would have to see screenshots of the modifiers within the feat and within the homebrew race itself. However, there is a forum for bugs and support, this may be better off posted there so that there is a higher chance of someone being able to resolve this for you, or a moderator even. Here is the link to that forum: https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/bugs-support
I figured it out. Basically the Race was supposed to have +2 STR and +1 CON but it wasn't adding the bonuses, and it wasn't adding the 13+Con unarmored AC. I managed to fix both of those but it took some playing around and a little bit of YouTube tutorial.
