It used to be that anything placed in a spoiler in the description for a magic item would be completely invisible on character sheets, even the spoiler itself was invisible. Now, something has changed and the contents of spoilers are displayed freely on character sheets. Using spoilers to hide information was a super useful tool for DMs to be able to hide information about the item from players such as curses, and then reveal that information at a later date by simply removing the spoiler, re-saving and having the player refresh their character sheet. Without this functionality it’s now kind of a pain to make cool cursed items or other surprises for our players since it now requires having multiple copies of the items and swapping stuff around. Can you please put things back the way they were before in regard to how spoilers function in magic items on character sheets? Pretty please?
THX for posting this IamSposta I was also surprised at the change, would like to add my voice to the request

“It cannot be seen, cannot be felt, Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt, It lies behind stars and under hills, And empty holes it fills, It comes first and follows after, Ends life, kills laughter.” J.R.R. Tolkien, The Hobbit, or There and Back Again
Honestly I would have expected an "official" reply by now here or via the feedback channel my past interactions have always had a prompt and professional response in the past, but currently... nothing... then again there is that tsunami of bad PR currently

Came here to post this very thing. A planned surprise in my campaign was ruined because suddenly the player could read the entirety of the text.
I hope they fix it soon.

I also came here to report this problem... It has ruined many surprises in the last session and also caused many questions...
I wonder what would've caused this?

I’m sure they did something on the back end and this was one of the side effects. I just hope they fix it.

I wish I had known about this back when it worked, it would have been very convenient a couple of times.
Adding my voice to this request as well

Same here, it's a shame, got a very confused player with a dragon touched focus, WHAT I CAN CAST A SPELL AS 9TH LEVEL?? :(
Just had a suprise 5 years in the making ruined by this. During Christmas break. It was sad.
That really sucks.

I’m beginning to get the impression they are ignoring this because they have no intention of fixing it.

Seems that way.
Hi all!
Apologies that this hasn't been answered since first being raised. I've passed this along to the devs. Thanks for your patience!
Thank you GPyromania.
