So i am trying to number some encounters which i have 19 of. the numbering goes 1, 10 ,11 and so on until it gets to 2. it starts at 1 skips 2-9 and ends up doing 10-19. How does this happen with numbers?
bcause the numbers are part of a Text (string) and not seen as a sepperate number. this results in it being ordered alphabeticaly.
everything that has a 1 is seen as being lower alphabeticaly than anything with a 2. In the same way that anything with an A will come before anything with a B.

One solution is to use 01, 02, 03, etc for #s 1-9
