I've made some changes to my character sheet but none of the changes are present in the .pdf when I export it. It seems to be stuck exactly as it was when I first created it.
I've read a few past threads on this but none of the advice has worked: 1. Use a different browser (Didn't work) 2. Clear cache (didn't work) 3. Log out and back in (didn't work) 4. Wait at least 20 minutes (I waited about 18 hours now - still didn't work) 5. I'm now using a different laptop entirely and it's still not working
Thank you for looking for solutions, trying them, and letting us know what you tried! Another suggestion: toggle inspiration on and off (or off and on, depending on its original setting), give it 20 minutes or so and try exporting again.
I found a small workaround. If you have the DND Beyond app, you can export to PDF there and it should work as intended. Idk why web is broken and they still haven't fixed, but this worked for me.
I actually found a work around as well. If you go to your characters and make a copy of the character that won't update... the copy will be updated. Hope that helps others.
Hey I no I see that this is old but I've recently developed a problem where I go to download the PDF and on the browser it shows up as my character but when it goes into my computer it shows up up as a blank sheet I've done everything Kozublue suggested but I've had no success.

What PDF viewer are you using to open it? Sometimes people have had problems with some PDF apps not being able to handle the fillable form fields.

Any advice!?
Thank you!
4/5 days later! Still not updating - does anyone have any advice on what could be going on here and how to resolve?

Yeah I can't believe this is still a problem. If you search, you can see this is a bug from years ago that they still haven't addressed.

This worked for me. Thank you
Only downside is that the export of this PDF shows the character's name as 'Copy Of [name]' hahaha
