The Knave's Eye Patch is not properly accounting for it's cancelling the Sunlight Sensitivity trait. When wearing (and being attuned to) it, it's giving my Drow character advantage and disadvantage for Perception checks when I should have advantage.
It is not possible for a feature to remove a trait or feature granted by a different source.
To add this ability would require a very substantial revamping of the underlying architecture of the homebrew system and we are very unlikely to see that happen before the full roll out and implementation of One D&D, and it may possibly never happen.
If it bothers you that it shows both A/D icons, you can create a homebrew copy of the Dark Elf (Drow) race and delete the Sunlight Sensitivity trait.
