I'm at a loss here. My friend purchased all the available books on D&D Beyond, and while attempted to link his account to other account (and ensure that he doesn't lose everything), he accidentally unlinked his account. D&D Beyond immediately logged him out, and now he's unable to log back in, even using the email address he received the receipt from. Each time he tried to log in using Apple,
He's put in support tickets, but has received no response in over 24 hours. Has anyone else has this issue? If so, what steps could we take to get him back in and everything linked again? Heck, at this point he'd just like to get a response.
He's freaking out because that's over $1000 in books he almost lost immediately, and freaking out over the silence. He has several D&D games, all of which using D&D Beyond, coming up fairly soon. Please don't make comments about his decision. I'm just trying to help a friend get back into his D&D Beyond account. Thank you!
whatever he does he should not submit multiple tickets as every new ticket puts you at the back of the line. (yes this is a stupid way of handling it but that's how it works)
Notes: Please avoid giving potentially misleading or inaccurate information. Thank you

It's not possible to unlink all your accounts, one must remain linked.
You say that he attempted to "link his account to other account", what 'other account' are they referring to? D&D Beyond doesn't have the option to merge accounts so if they may have accidentally created a new account.
Your friend should attempt to log in to D&D Beyond using any Google, Apple, Twitch, or Wizards of the Coast account they might have. One of these will be still linked to their original account. Please note that if they use a service not linked to any existing D&D Beyond account, it will create a new account.
that’s his problem: only one external id (“account”) can be linked at a time. Even says so on the “link accounts” settings page.
He needs to sign out, then sign in with each id in turn, starting with his Wizards username/password if he has one.
Very frustrating and frightening db and ux design, I agree. Same thing happened to me yesterday as I logged in to create a char for a new campaign and found all my old characters missing. Good luck!

So we found the real issue: The account is only linked to an old Twitch account that he no longer uses, has the email or password for. =(
Thanks for the info, everyone!
Support may still be able to help him.
He got positive news today. They were able to link his old account under a new WizKids ID. Thanks for the tips everyone!
Hopefully folks that have the same issue read this and stay positive. =)
