I am a longtime maximum-tier subscriber, four-digit customer, and massive DND nerd. I have been using DNDBeyond religiously since the around August 2020 when Critical Role and Covid led our circle of friends to fall deep down a rabbit hole that we definitely don't want to climb out of.
I am writing to express my concern and some minor consternation: the new Perimeter X protocol has decided that every time I try to edit a piece of homebrew content, build an encounter, edit an item, create a new monster, breathe the wrong way, even slightly cross my eyes, or otherwise interact with DNDbeyond the exact same way that I have for years, it locks me out of the website for a minute.
I'm also a former web developer and know my way around cookies and JavaScript, which I used to hand-code back in the day. If attempting to access DNDbeyond were a goal in my playgroup, our table would definitely conclude that there's a rogue Modron who has corrupted the workings of Mechanus, and our party needs to go rescue the Plane of Order from itself.
Might I respectfully, perhaps, inquire as to whether our dear Perimeter-X one-eyed automaton guardian of the site has, perchance, taken things a few steps too far?
Given this is unique to you, I would suggest checking your extensions and browser you're using.
