In our dnd game, I am playing a Drakewarden Ranger. Our DM has granted my characters' drake a simple +1 to hit and a +1 to its damage.
I cannot find any way of simply adding a +1 to hit or +1 to the damage of my pet Drake. Adding a +1 to the to hit bonus or damage on the tab for the Drake, under the button 'customize' does nothing to change the damage calculations.
This is a very simple change: how can I do this i DnDbeyond?
You would have to create a homebrewed copy of the subclass, change the snippet for that subclass feature, save the whole subclass, and then switch your character from using the official version of that subclass to using your homebrewed version.
Makes me wonder why this hasn't been made easier. Just let me edit the numbers man.
Probably because the primary focus and goal of this website is to implement the Rules As Written of Official content. Also, not even all official content can be supported yet because the people who create the content do not consider the limitations of this website.
Support for homebrew, houserules, unofficial content and so on is secondary. So, the site code architecture was originally built without forethought of these and adding them in later is a lot more difficult.

Create a homebrew monster for your Drake, factoring the changes your DM has permitted. Use this in the Extras tab of your sheet.

Wow, that is such an unwieldy solution. Playing on paper, all it would take is change literally two numbers.
Thank you for the help though.
