Why does the deal state we need the Dig & Phys Core Rulebook Bundle? Though, from what you're stating, we can purchase just the digital bundle and get the extra benefits?
Another reasonable question. I live in hope that WotC will possibly show a little love to non-US customers and extend the prepurchase offer to everyone (which seems like common sense to me)
- In this other post there is mention of pre-order perks for EU/UK customers. Could you clarify what is meant?
- You mention that no pre-order perks are available outside the US. However, it is possible to purchase a digital bundle from abroad. Would a non-US customer not receive the pre-order perks if they purchased the digital bundle directly on DDB?
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: I've included the missing link to the other post.
As I understand Davyd, buying the "2024 Digital Core Rulebook Bundle" is sufficient to get the D&D Beyond marketplace bonuses. That bundle you can buy from Europe. It even still substracts my "legendary pack" - discount on the digital bundle price.
You just need to get the physical books from another source, like a FLGS (alternate cover, anyone) or that big river.
And I have tried adding all three of the above to my Shopping Cart and it does not provide any of the Pre-order bonuses that are given free to US preferred customers.
And it does not give any discount for buying all three of these either: Subtotal: £179.97

Your subtotal there matches the price that the 2024 Core Rulebook Bundle would be if it existed in the UK/EU stores. Aside from the £60 you save because the digital books are bundled, there is no other discount.
I'm also happy to say that preorder bonuses are available to players outside of the US. We actually just dropped the first bunch of them today!

Well, that's brilliant - So, please just to confirm, if I order the three Core Book bundles on the UK (Wizards.com) website, then this will include all the preorder bonuses (like the dragon, dice, etc)? I just want to be sure before I drop £180 on them, as I dont want to make a mistake.
Thanks so much! I will go and order them now. And also, thank you for taking the time out to respond to my thread like this. I really appreciate that, and it has helped persuade me to make the purchase! :-D Have a great weekend!
@LatiaJacquise deserves praise for tollerating the repeated questions on this matter :D
the first PHB bonuses have dropped, Excellent. And my order through dndstore.wizards.com for all three books has honoured these first bonuses.
Agreed, sure - but it wouldnt need answering if WotC had actually made it clear from the start meaning people wouldnt need to keep coming to answering the same questions because the website doesnt tell people the answer.

Just asking, when is the expected date to receive them after purchasing the 3 bundles if you're out of U.S? Also to clarify on what Davyd said:
Could we only buy digital bundle and receive the pre-order bonuses?
Can you please clarify how it knows which account to send it to? I log-in to D&D Beyond Marketplace using my Apple ID sign-on. On the Canadian store (https://dndstore.wizards.com/us), it's a completely separate account and password with no option for Apple ID sign-on.

If discriminating against non US based customers is how we are going to start the new 2024 D&D then I will skip this version entirely.

There is no "Core Rulebook bundle" on the UK site:
D&D | Official Online Store (wizards.com)
And you cannot buy the physical books individually either :
2024 Player's Handbook Digital + Physical Bundle
2024 Dungeon Master's Guide Digital + Physical Bundle
2024 Monster Manual Digital + Physical Bundle

This includes the digital gold dragon?
Yes, as long as you've preordered all three core rulebooks!

in your DnDBeyond account, you should see linked both your wizards account and your apple account, as below in Red boxes:
Also, in your wizards.com order history page,
against your order, you will have the button "Unlock the activation key"
these codes you can then take to dndbeyond & redeem.
A note to the DnDBeyond Staff, the instructions on the wizards.com store still use the old marketplace layout.
Thank you - appreciate you taking the time to respond. Would be so much easier if they just posted clear instructions!
