I'm trying to setup my Dungeons of Drakkenheim campaign on MAPS and I don't seem to be able to set the token scale for the maps that were included in the module. This is an issue because the scaling they have by default seems to be off on some of the maps. The Emberwood Village map for example seems to be scaled much to high with medium tokens appearing as near specks.
Anybody know if it is possible to change the scale of a map that I did not upload?
You can't for official maps. You can only adjust token scaling for uploaded maps. Download map from the book, upload into maps and on Step 2 of doing that it will prompt you to set the scale of your token. Then click save and you're done.

there seems to be a limit on how much you can scale. Is there an ideal size to save the image as prior to uploading?
Unfortunately, I do not use the tool often enough to have determined that. I can only recommend just playing around with the map before you upload - make a few versions in different sizes and upload those to see which ones is best.

Thanks for the workaround I'll give it a try.
