Appreciate it. I just wish they'd make an official announcement. I am holding out hope that once they figure out how to get the Partnered Content corrected, that that solution will also be able to apply to homebrew content.
They waited until like a week before the book was released to the first pre-orders to tell us how DDB would work! I have been screaming on these forums for months asking them to announce something! This is just bad PR.
To use your homebrew spells that you created prior to the 2024 PHB release with a 2024 class or subclass, you need to edit your spells and add the desired 2024 spellcasting class(es) or subclass(es) tags to the CLASS AVAILABILTY section of the spell builder.
The Homebrew source toggle must also be turned on in the character preferences.
(I learned this the hard way when I had to retag my hundreds of homebrew or third party spells for private use)
It looks like some Partner content is missing from 2024b character creation options- .
The Circle of the Blighted is not showing up as an option for the 2024 druid (Critical Role is on for the player, and we refreshed the books in the campaign too) and the circle doesn't show up in the drop down list.
Just as a note - you’ll note that many subclasses that have been published by our various Partners do not appear for the 2024 classes. We’re working with them to update their content for the new rules, but do not have an ETA for those releases.
Meanwhile, you'll have to create a homebrew 2024 version of the subclass and recreate, copy/paste all the features of the 3rd party subclass you wish to use with your 2024 character. Or keep using the 2014 version of the class with the subclass.
Just because i haven't seen it posted yet: The Snippet text for the Tough Feat is bugged. Currently written as "When you take this feat, your HP maximum increases by [[2*characterlevel]]. Whenever you gain a character level thereafter, your HP maximum increases an additional 2 HP." This makes it give slightly confusing information at higher levels, as the way it's phrased, the "original amount granted" is rising.
Should probably be simplified in the snippet to: "Your HP maximum increases by [[2*characterlevel]]." Not a huge issue, just a wording thing.
I took the ritual caster feat from the 2024 player handbook and selected my five ritual spells that the feat says will always be prepared, but when I go into my character sheet, the spells don't appear in my prepared spell list or my known spells. I meet the 13+ requirement with my Wisdom at a 15 and a 20 Charisma. I am also over level 4.
Any time an unfathomably powerful entity sweeps in and offers godlike rewards in return for just a few teensy favors, it’s a scam. Unless it’s me. I’d never lie to you, reader dearest.
While managing new players creating characters within a Shared Campaign I noticed that an in-process (incomplete) character still list 'No Race Selected" instead of "No Species Selected". The 2024 Players Handbook enabled /Shared to this campaign.
He seems to have 2 extra fears that I cannot delete
He has savage attacker from soldier, and feytouched as his 4th level feat.
But there is also fury of the frost giant and superior technique there and I can't for the life of me figure out why?
Any help would be appreciated so I can stop fighting with my newbie player that he cannot have those feats 😂
I get an error and can’t view the sheet when clicking on the link but did he just manually add them and try to pull a fast one? You can add feats from your character sheet by going to features, then feats, then just clicking add (similar to how you would manage spells). If the character is in your campaign you should be able to check that and just remove them.
The link still doesn't work, but I had a similar issue with a feat I'd added manually. To get rid of it, look under the feats tab on the sheet, and then click the name of the feat. That should pop open a siddebar with the feat name and details and a DELETE button.

That worked! Lol thank you for that. Simple is usually the answer. Now I wonder why it happened to being with.
Having trouble with getting spell slots above level 1 with a wizard multiclass. Wizard was the second class added and have tried giving wizard lvl 10 just to see if I could get above lvl 1 spells at some point and still won’t. The slots and known spells does scale correctly
If I place the wizard as the first class, it works correctly (but unfortunately character is only lvl 4 so still not getting the correct assortment of spells. The other class is artificer which I know is really buggy so maybe this is the cause

In the Ranger Creation:
Fighting Style at LvL 2, you can only Choose between "Druidic Warrior" and "Fighting Style Feat"
So the other Fighting Styles dont get listed.

Weeks later Devil's Sight still doesn't register as Darkvision on character sheet
Technically, it's not Darkvision. But, yes, it would be helpful to appear in the Senses section.
Devil's sight is much better than darkvision.

Meanwhile spells still not available from LLoK for the warlock, and invocations still missing.
See if this link works:

Thanks for the reply!
I don't think he's trying to pull a fast one. I don't think he understands the mechanics enough to cheat.
When I go into his character sheet and go to manage feats, those specific two don't even show up as options to either add or remove.
Hopefully the sheet opens so that you could have a look.
Any help is appreciated.

What is LLoK?
It's similar with the Rune Shaper feat from the Rune Carver background. So that's likely just a system limitation for now.
This is a signature. It was a simple signature. But it has been upgraded.

I don't know if this has been said yet and 57 pages is a lot too go through but...
The life domain cleric spells "aid" does not show as prepared on the character sheet
