Was just coming here to post the same thing about getting an email saying it was cancelled.
However, before that got an email with a tracking.
I am assuming (I've not read through 35 pages) - that it's because there was an initial charge of the bundle itself - so, it's a part of - hey it's the DMG - we cancelled payment because we already charged you?
This just happened to me as well. My AMEX had a pending charge for the DMG on it, then I got the "unable to process" and cancellation emails. The next day I got the same thing - pending charge and then cancellations. Digital access is just fine. So I just went to my FLGS and picked up an alt cover copy, which I like better anyway. Still very annoying! I got my PHB without any problem!!
I got a random charge for the DMG (and looking back also PHB) - but I am not sure if I ever got the credit back because I think they charged for the bundle up front - but also seem to be seeing individual charges for the books.
I used a credit card. Called the credit card company. They said there were two charges on my account and neither one had been canceled yet.
Looking at the original preorder I did, I can't tell what the heck is going on. They said they charged me X in the emails but when I check my statements, they didn't. I'm going to need to go through my credit card statements and sort this all out. Ugh.
And here we go for round two! The new wrinkle is that PayPal actually shows the charge as going through this time, but then I got the cancellation email. Not sure which way this one is going yet...
Earlier today you received one or more unintended emails from test@dndbeyond.com regarding your 2024 Dungeon Master’s Guide purchase through the D&D Beyond Marketplace saying that your order was cancelled or your payment failed. These messages were sent in error, and we apologize for any confusion.
You can safely disregard these emails. Any official communication regarding purchases from the D&D Beyond Marketplace will come from the email address orders@dndbeyond.com.
And what about the cancellations that had ZERO emails? Mine is marked cancelled in the order list, just like PHB was, and once again I received ZERO notice.

My order was never charged for the DMG. I just got notified two days ago that was cancelled though, just like the PHB. Unlike the PHB, I still have not heard from Wizards Support to provide an option to reorder. This is very annoying.
received an email stating I needed to reorder the DMG. It stated I would not lose any of my perks due to the bundle and gave me a discount code that would apply to the purchase. I have reordered and heres hoping this works out for me.

I think they may have fixed the issue, or at least its easier now.
Since I bought the bundle all the physical books were listed together as one item and were at Order Placed. Now the three books are there own items within the order. They canceled the Player Handbook, for which I am glad since I went out and bought it. The DMG is now moving forward is at Preparing to Ship.
So my DMG preorder was cancelled due to this “payment” issue (I bought the bundle for all 3 books). However I just received an email this morning 11/7/24 from WoTC with a coupon code stating that I should reorder the DMG.
When I try to re-order the DMG, do I need to:
(A) re-order both the digital and physical DMG
(B) re-order the physical DMG only
The ordering system is telling me I already own the digital DMG, but I don’t want to place my order and miss out on the digital DMG if this is just a glitch. To be clear, I only want 1 copy each of the physical and digital versions of the DMG. I do not want a duplicate digital copy of the DMG.
I got the Oops email the other day and replied that my order still got cancelled. They actually responded apologizing and gave me a coupon code to reorder at the bundle price plus a $5 off coupon.

Looks like it said DNDBeyond Marketplace, but it was actually test@...
So the email going out was correct. False alarm!

I got the same. I have a pending payment on my card but I got the order cancelled and that i need to reorder. What's going on?
Keep an eye on the original pending payment, it should drop off.
