I'm trying to make a homebrew feat that my players could use to increase an ability score by 2, and another ability score by 1.
When I choose Add Modifer > Bonus (modifier type) > Choose an Ability Score to increase by 1 [or 2] (modifier subtype)....
The drop down menu choice appears on the digital character sheet > custom feat sidebar. But the increase doesn't work.
The increase seems to work if you choose a specific ability score, or a list of a few ability scores to choose from (e.g. Choose Dexterity, Wisdom, Charisma). But never works if you choose the general "Choose an ability score to increase by 1" or "Choose an ability score to increase by 2"....
I even tried adding 1 (or 2) to the Fixed Value box, but does not work either. I tried refreshing my character sheet (internet page), clearing cache...
I have created dozens of feats in the past. This is a new issue.
Same thing is happening to me. I thought I was doing something wrong because it wasn't making the change in the scoring, but I see I'm not the only one.
Just to clarify; if we wanted to give them a +1 to an ASI of their choice we would choose the Modifier subtype "Choose an ability score to increase by 1" and then give it a fixed value of 1?
I have attempted to give my modifiers a fixed value and, no matter what I do, the bonus does not apply to my character’s ability scores. I continue to have to manually add the bonus to the “other bonus” field on my character builder in order for the adjustment to apply.
It does. Does your character already have 20 in that score or perhaps you accidentally have overridden it on the sheet (click the ability and ensure override is empty).

I can't get it to work at all. I have Modifier Type: Bonus, Modifier Subtype: Choose int, wis or cha and then Fixed Value set to 1, but nothing comes up on the character sheet. Any ideas?

Could be numerous reasons. Can you please post a screen shot of the main feature details and the modifier details?

I am having the same issue and was hoping to find a fix here...
It will only increase if you give it a Fixed Value. (Note that homebrew edits can sometimes take up to 15 minutes to appear on the character sheet.)

Awesome thank you so much
