I've been having this issue as well; I've gone through all the same steps and nothing resets for either a short or long rest. Flandora have you still been having this issue? It's been a few months since your last post, so I'm a little concerned that it seems to not have changed since then.

Yep. She says she did but her inspirations didn't reset.
Ok, it worked for me on both a bard I rolled up and on my player's sorcerer/bard sheet as I tried myself so she must have some strange environmental issue on her PC that's causing it.

Good to know. We do both use that addon but strange that it didn't affect me but would affect her. Then again, I don't actually use Chrome, I use Edge which is built on Chromium so I wonder if that causes the Beyond 20 addon to behave a little differently. None of my other players that use Beyond20 have noticed anything strange when clicking Short Rest.

As MellieDM says, you need to ensure that you confirm the rest.

There you will see the acknowledgement that I have done a short rest, and yet my bardic inspiration hasn't been reset.

Our Group's bard is a Sorcerer 10/Bard 6 and her Bardic Inspiration does not reset on a Short Rest as it should.
