I’ve just given up and sent a message to customer service, I suggest everyone else does the same. If they help me solve it I’ll share the solution but I suspect being bombarded with email tickets might work better than reporting here

on 2025.08.05 I created a support case with WoC; Issue# 4641630.
Let's just say it is going to be a while - they clearly are having a hard time even understanding or visualizing the issue. I've sent them screen shots, and videos demonstrating the behavior. I even directed them to this post!
They kept telling me to clear my browser cache and to sync my entitlements. I did what they asked, but nothing is fixed. Same issue of the four titles constantly needed "updating".
One thing I did notice, and curious if the behavior is the same with others... depending upon how you 'download' the update:
1) when I click update on each item individually, the book begins updating, but when it gets to 50%, it instantly jumps to 100%. I do not consider this normal, because when I update other titles (other than the 4 aforementioned affected books), they continue a normal progression beyond 50%, counting all they way up to 100% progressively.
2) when I click the 'update all' option, the 4 affected books begin updating "normally"; This does NOT fix the continual update issue - just a difference in the update behavior of the 4 books.
In my DnDBeyond app (Android), I have orange text "Update available" in three products: Dragon Delves and both Crooked Moon parts. This text does not disappear when I update the sources. The app shows green text "Downloading" and then the orange "Update available" returns. I have tried to update these products several times, but nothing changes. It has been like this maybe two or three weeks now. You can still open the books in the app.
I have this same issue in two different devices (Android phone and android tablet), so it is not a device issue. Browser version (in my laptop) works as expected.
There has been a similar problem couple of times earlier in other products. Reinstalling the app does not fix the problem, but in earlier cases the problem has been fixed in about a week. I guess that the app does not reset some variable which tells that there is an update. Or it does not manage to download the product.
