Not only do they still show in the list for characters that cant take them, but those characters can still take them.
In addition, the feats don't actually show the prerequisite in the text.
My players just hit level 4, and two of them took feats they didnt have the stats for, and there was no way i could show them that line without pulling out the books
Stormknight, you cannot see those prereqs in the character builder and your selection is not limited by what you qualify for. There is also no warning if your half-elf takes the Infernal Constitution feat.
Im running into an issue with having a lot of homebrew feats I want to import (mostly expanded feats for non-PHB races), but that would make every players feat lists these huge as shit lists of 100 feats they cant even take half of
Allowing characters to take invalid feats is something I expect to be common in homebrew, but it should definitely be more clear on in-sheet selection that you are doing so.
I would agree, which is they should not appear in the builder.
If I want to let my Dwarf player take Prodigy, or a Charisma character take Ritual Caster, I can simply make a homebrew version of the feat that doesn't have the restriction.
A few homebrewed copies of feats is much better then players seeing the 20+ feats they cant take
This is still a thing by the way, may have just cropped up again with the custom lineage, but a player making a character from my game is allowed to take eldrich adept as a custom lineage fighter

If you expand any of those feats, or view the details page, it clearly displays the prerequisite.
That said, you are correct that the character builder should observe the prerequisites (and preferably should also display them within the builder).
