I just invited myself to a campaign that I am going to run in the future. I just wanted to make sure that all my friends would be able to see the shared content. However, when I go to the campaign and complete creating a new character. I can't see any of the source books that I shared. Not to mention that I can't see them before I make a level one character. What is the point? Maybe I am just unfamiliar with the way things are shared. Or, maybe I just couldn't find the answer after searching 20 minutes on the internet. So, I'll just ask. When I share the content that I purchased to campaign members, can the read the source books before or after creating a character? I mean, at the most simple meaning of, shared content, that would be allowed. Is that the case?
Thanks,

Replying to myself. I do love when you go to a campaign as a player that it has a button for "Launch VTT". Hahaha, like they really have a VTT. Also, I expect my answer to the above question to be completely half assed, just like the "Heroes of Faerun" book that only had subclasses for 2/3's of the classes.
To follow up with an additional note to support spamandtuna's question: Check with the account trying to make the character, not just your main account. Your entitlements change when you join a campaign.
Also: From the main account (which must be a Master-tier subscription to share content), did you just create a campaign, or did you select the campaign and enable content sharing?
I created a campaign in my main account (Master Tier) that I have used to run games for the past two years. I signed up with another email that I have. I sent an invitation to join the campaign to the new account. Before I joined the campaign with the new account, I checked to ensure that I couldn't view any of the source books. I can create a character in that campaign with my new account, but I cannot view any of the source books. Also, yes, source book sharing has been turned on for more than a year.

When you join a campaign with content sharing, to access that shared content the entitlements for that account that is being shared with must update to grant the access to the content. You will need to check the entitlements for that (Lanuvas) account are in sync.
Another check you can do is go directly to the source compendium—if you can get past the contents page the content is being shared and the issue is with the builder (possibly you haven't enabled the expanded content sources). If you get directed to the marketplace, the content isn't being shared.

There is a VTT, it's called Maps VTT and it's been out for some time now....
Also, I expect my answer to the above question to be completely half assed, just like the "Heroes of Faerun" book that only had subclasses for 2/3's of the classes.
Not expecting much and still disappointed,
That's pretty standard for setting books and other subject specific releases. Ravenloft, Bigby's, Fizban's, Wildemount, Theros, Ravnica, and the OG SCAG all had subclasses for some but not all classes. It's only books like Tasha's and Xanathar's that have subclasses for all the classes.
Also presupposing that answers to your question are going to be "completely half assed" isn't exactly going to engender people to help you....

Content sharing is enabled on a campaign-by-campaign basis. Did you turn it on in the new one? (Also, you can only turn it on in five campaigns.)
Try turning it off then on again in that campaign, and check entitlements for both accounts.

This is a new campaign, so unless you created this campaign more than a year ago, that's not relevant.
Did you definitely see the character options in the creator, from the books you're sharing? That would indicate that you have enabled Content Sharing in this Campaign.
Have you reviewed the Content Management for this campaign? Other campaigns you've shared in are completely independent and irrelevant to this campaign.

You definitely turned on Campaign Sharing, as a DM Tier Subscriber? And allowed the books you want visible in the Content Management screen?

Well, Beyond does have a VTT. I run games on it. I am not sure what you are trying to say?
