I was referred to this thread by support because I was having a similar issue with the Player Bundle, but if this is "strictly a visual bug" with the library, then shouldn't I still be able to see the licenses under the "licenses" tab of my account?
Because I can see the order confirmation under my "orders" tab, but the licenses for the books I purchased are absolutely definitely NOT appearing under the "licenses" tab - even though, ironically, licenses for content I received for free or as subscriber perks shortly before and after purchasing the Player Bundle are still showing up!
Correct. Licenses should be unaffected. Are your entitlements in sync? Can you view the books?
It's sort of frustratingly funny that support would send you to this thread since there's no solution in here, just more confirmations of the display issue.

Updates will be in this thread and it has the full details. It's the right place to send you.
Welp I got a major jumpscare when I saw the owned category had 27 books when I bought the legendary bundle a few years ago and some adventures I was sure of owning are now displaying a cart icon. Please fix this, it has been almost a month since the original post and it's currently *very* annoying to figure out what I own and what I don't especially since the marketplace also doesn't let you filter and you have to manually check each book...
I can view the books but I'm not sure if that's because I bought them or because I'm in a campaign where the DM is sharing them, although they are showing up as "shared with you" when the books I own myself don't show up as "shared with you" no matter if they're owned by a DM who's enabled content sharing or not.
I don't know how to check if entitlements are in sync, but as far as I can tell, I'm not having any problems with any other content I purchased or received for free or as a gift either before or after purchasing the player bundle.
Thank you. While I understand that the bug doesn't impact the function of the site, it is very annoying. I also can't buy anything else on the site, because I can't be confident that I don't already own it. So, if you want any more money from the community, it should probably be fixed soon. Hint, hint.
Thank you for the update. I am also holding off from buying anything else until this bug is fixed for a few reasons. I look forward to seeing this resolved. I also noticed I had two products which I know I own that show up in my library with no tag indicating ownership or being shared. I presume this is part of the same bug but had missed initially.

Yeah this makes sense, I was hoping the 6-8 hours of maintenance they did last night was going to patch it, but I looked right now and it still seems to have the same issues. We are going on 5 weeks now and this problem is still seems to be persisting since mid Dec 2025.

While it's your money and 100% valid if you choose not to make purchases, the Marketplace doesn't have this bug and will tell you if you own the product already. Also your Licenses and Purchase History will both show correctly.
Specifically owned content from 2014 is not shown when searching for spells eg bladeward
The search attempts to make me purchase the 2024 version instead of providing the already purchased content.
When and if I decide to Purchase further content this content depends entirely on you continuing to support previous searchable content.
Please note that I own almost all 2014 content.
I just searched "Blade Ward" in the general search and the first 2 results were the 2024 and 2014 versions of the spell. Also, search queries are unrelated to this thread.
Can confirm that when I use my character sheet and disable 24 Core and enable 14 Core + Extended, I do *NOT* see 14 Core or extended options included in my Legendary Bundle. I *do* see options from other 14 books I've purchsed, like spells and equipment. This isn't just a visual issue, this is a function issue.

You need to be more specific. Exactly what are you or aren't you seeing? For instance:
-If you don't see the 2014 base classes in your class selection at all when 2014 Core is selected, that's a bug
-If you are using a 2024 class and don't see 2014 versions of spells or subclasses (such as Blade Ward or School of Illusion), that's correct behavior
That last one isnt persee so. You can still play updated 2014 subclasses while picking a 2024 class. Just not all are updated, and wizard official would state that they are not made for eachother soo on your own "risk".

Any that have been updated shouldn't be showing up. I used Illusion Wizard because 2024 has an updated version already, so the 2014 version of the subclass shouldn't be available at all on 2024 Wizard.
Im confused why you state this. It wasnt advertised this way and you literaly have the option to add 2014 content. And thus the subclasses show under the banner of either 2014 core rules, extended or partners etc.

I would actually suggest that it's a failure on the people in charge of D&D Beyond to choose not to roll this feature back until it's fixed.
No, actually, not suggest. Whoever is in charge of this decision HAS failed us all, that's a fact.

You check via Account > Licenses. It's a little banner above your list of licenses that will tell you whether or not they're in sync.
