A few weeks ago, the site started loading much slower. It used to be within a few seconds, now I'm lucky if it's 10 seconds. When trying to load any of my homebrew, or characters, even general information it takes nearly a minute to load, if at all. When I try to use the "Create a" links, they just do not work.
I've cleared my browser history, restarted my computer, turned off antivirus, no vpn, tried multiple browsers, logged out then back in.
I have been a Master Tier member for a number of years and would like this resolved as quickly as possible.
I have the same problem, but ONLY when I'm EDITING a character with the ELF specie!!!
Elves are slowing down everything for some reason, did not try all the races but quite a few of the other species, and the editing speed is instantly back when I switch to those.
Homebrew is extremely slow a the moment and is throwing 500s on the regular.
The status page is all green but clearly something is up.
Initial GET requests for homebrew creatures are taking upwards of one minute with the full cascade of requests taking over two minutes and often resulting in 500s.
Yep trying to build a new character and took about 5 mins to load the page (after I refreshed it on the first 5). When we play on Weds nights we often have times we have just sit and chat waiting for the site to load. This seems to be an on-going issue.
The character building pages remain painfully slow. Every time I add a spell to a spellbook it takes probably 20 seconds to add the spell and then it refreshes the whole page and I have to figure out where I was again. (building a level 16 wizard, so it's less than ideal.) -- Last time I did this (building a 9th level wizard, the spellbook was the fastest part because it was just click click click done. No reloading or delays.)

This issue is over a month old and hasn't been happening for a while. If you're having similar issues, it's something new.

D&D StaffHey all! As of roughly 3:15pm CT, the status page was updated that we were aware of the slowdown on some pages.
About half an hour ago, the page was updated with identification of a potential source and fix implementation.
The page is manually updated, so I'd advise checking back on it frequently.

This is still happening. Horribly slow even just loading magic items, not homebrew.

Just bumping this to note it's still ongoing.
