Has D&D Beyond recently changed how permissions work between players' character sheets and DMs? I am trying to figure out if this is a bug or an intentional design shift.
I used to be able to go into my players' character sheets via the builder and see all the options and selections they made. This was incredibly helpful for guiding new players through their builds. However, now I often cannot see their character option choices when I go to the character builder for their sheets. Instead, I just see generic descriptions of what each tab in the character builder is for (i.e., HOME, CLASS, etc.), which is not in any way helpful.
Here is the frustrating part: Sometimes I can see them, even though all the settings appear to be the same. The characters are set to public, they are in my campaign, and content sharing is enabled but it is hit or miss whether I can actually access the proper character builder view. The inconsistency makes me think it might be a glitch.
However, I know D&D Beyond has been pushing updates recently. Is there a new setting that determines when we do and don't have access? Or is something broken on the backend?
I work with a lot of new players, and this is really becoming frustrating. It used to work fine, but now I'm flying blind trying to help them fix their sheets.

You or the player are accidentally activating the Help mode. At top-left, to the left of the Home tab, is a ? in a circle. This is the help mode toggle. When on the tabs display the descriptions. When off, it's the normal builder.

Thank you! I had no idea. I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure out what was going on. With all the changes, I wasn't sure what was happening, but I see it now.
Has that always been a feature, or is it something new that's been added more recently? Just curious.

Can we please get some clarification on this?
