Since it seems it will be a while before Kensie is updated. Is or will there be a way to select Dedicated Weapon option for 2024 Monk in character builder?
It works the same, regardless of whether you select 2014 or 2024 Monk.
Select subclass. Under Path of the Kensei feature, select the weapons using the drop down boxes provided.

True But If I do NOT want the Kensi and want to use the Base Class option of Dedicated Weapon at level 2 I cannot. That was my intent on the original post.

That's because neither the 2014 or 2024 base Monk class have a Dedicated Weapon feature.
Dedicated Weapon is only a feature of the Way of the Kensei subclass. To use it you need to be a Way of the Kensei Monk. It will be selectable at 3rd level and Dedicated Weapons will be under the Path of the Kensei feature in the builder.
Are you mistaking 'Dedicated Weapon' with something else?

The optional class features from Tasha's Cauldron of Everything were written for the 5e classes and are not available for the 5.5e classes (except in a few cases where they've been explicitly included as non-optional features, like the Rogue's Steady Aim feature). This is intentional and seems unlikely to change anytime soon.
