Regarding the 'Beast Companion' sub-type in the Creatures section...I believe there is a formula error regarding the Skill bonus.
It seems that the skill proficiency modifier is calculated as (Character skill modifier + Beast ability modifier) - rather than (Beast skill modifier + Character proficiency bonus) as is my interpretation of the PHB Ranger.
Not sure if this was intentional, and if so what this calculation method is based upon?
I'm having issues loading the "Add a Creature" drop down on my character sheet. It continuously loads without allowing an option to pick a creature. This isn't happening with any of the other drop down menus on the character sheet.
I'm also wondering if there will be an option to add homebrew monsters to a homebrew subclasses' "creature" section for their class features?
I am having a problem with homebrew items. One of the characters in my game is unable to add any homebrew items to the sheet. Originally it was turned off but I went in and turned it on and it still refuses to find a single homebrew item to be added to the character. Any help is appreciated.

If Homebrew is turned on in the first settings page-- Have they added any homebrew to their collection? Do you have any homebrew in your collection as the DM?
I think I got it figured out! when I created the item, I missed going into the additional information section and saving. I didn't make any changes, just had to open it up and then save and item immediately appeared.
Getting the following error when accessing the SPELL link on the Character Sheet view (using a Chrome browser). Only happens on one of my characters (Atom Kordite).

Hi there,
this is likely to be homebrew that you have on that character - maybe a spell, magic item, feat, race, or subclass?
The to hit modifier is currently not being calculated correctly for Paladins that take the Dueling fighting style. My to hit should be +8 (+3 str, +3 proficiency, +2 dueling) but is displaying as +6 to hit.
On the character the creatures addition is welcome addition.
However, I believe I found a bug. If you have character with creatures that have been added to it. You copy the character. The creatures are not on the new character.
This one should be fixed with an update last week. Thanks for the report!
I'm new here so i don't know if this has been brought up before or if its even the right place. One of my players is playing a druid and noticed they couldn't choose perception (a druid skill) as one of their proficiencies

If they're unable to select a proficiency, it is because the character already has it (from race, class, or background ).

It's possible there's a problem with how your homebrew is configured. Do you have a link to your character, as well as the homebrew that is breaking it?
Got this error message when I (DM) attempted to add a feat to a Player Character's sheet in my campaign.

If you add a Clawfoot Raptor as a beast companion it doesn't gain the Rangers proficiency bonus to its Perception.
This might be because it already has "expertise" in Perception.

Yes I do. I have created several homebrew items and distributed them to other players before. It is just this character that is having issues.
Do you have a link to the character?

There's an error anytime I try to look at a variant human character or select that race when building one.
