The nothics throw garbage here, including the half-eaten corpses of rats, bats, and other vermin.
Also Level 22, Area 26:
The nothics steal books and store them in this chamber
This is an incredibly minor point, but there's no need to link to the creature's stat block as there are no nothics in these specific areas. The nothics in nearby areas are linked properly.
I haven't changed the nothics though - our standard policy is to tooltip any monsters that are named in a location, the first time they are mentioned in that location. Whilst i understand your point that the nothics aren't actually present in these locations, I think it's much better to stick to our tooltipping standards. :)
I pointed out the nothic links because I did not notice that pattern in other chapters. For an example of what I mean, look at Level 1, Area 6b, which says "...alerting any bandits in areas 6a, 6c, and 6d." There are no bandits in area 6b, and the word bandit has no tooltip. I've been scouring the book to figure out what miniatures I need for the campaign using my browser's Find function, and I think that it's rare to find a tooltip on a creature name if there is no creature of that type present (or possibly present, in the case of creatures which can be conjured, or who wander). Again, this is just me nitpicking, and I may be completely wrong. Thank you (and the whole D&D Beyond team) for your responsive and helpful service!
Just noticed that the same applies for some other Dungeon of the Mad Mage items. Only one I found working was the blast scepter, might want to check the other too.
Was reading through Level 12: Maze Level and noticed a few problems
1. Throughout the chapter, the goristro demon does not have a proper link to the statblock.
2. 8B lists a single glove of missile snaring. The other glove is listed in 8A. The glove in 8A properly links to the magic item in question while the glove in 8B does not, despite being italicized.
Outside of the Level 12 issues, the cover art for the book is still broken and looks absolutely terrible.
Go to https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/wdotmm and you can see in both the background to this page as well as when you click on "view cover art" that the images were not properly put together. The bottom part of the picture also looks terrible and is all smudged. I distinctly remember this exact image being in one of the promotional materials for this book and that version was a whole lot better than what we have. A basic google image search for dungeon of the mad mage shows that the image without the blurring at the very least, does exist.
Hey just a spelling mistake I believe. Should the last sentence under sending spells say "other things the nothic might say..." rather than night?
Sending Spells
Inside Undermountain, Halaster can’t be contacted by means of sending spells. Any creature that tries to contact him with a sending spell is magically redirected to the Mad Mage’s nothic secretary (see level 9, area 31). Each time it is contacted in this manner, the nothic replies with a string of expletives in Undercommon. Other things the nothic night say (in Undercommon) include the following:
Just as another point, the Circlet of Human Perfection is, TMK, a brand new magic item. As such, it needs to be listed on the "Magic Items" you can purchase under the additional purchase options for the book. This is less of a book bug than a Marketplace bug, but I feel I should add it here as well.
I was just looking for this too. I have a drow who could really use to look like a handsome human every now and again, just to save the OMG DROW fuss once in awhile, but it isn't liste to buy individually, and I'm not going to risk buying the whole thing only to find out it won't be part of the whole package. Any word on this, or other Mad Mage magic items that might be missing that say they are here?
On level 19 room.2:
"Rukha the orog has a sending stone tucked in one of her gauntlets."
The sending stone link goes to the spell, not the magic item.
This is fixed. Thanks.
On Level 15: Obstacle Course, a creature can grab an ember and receive a random bonus. One of them reads:
It should link to the magic item "necklace of fireballs", not the "fireball" spell.
This is fixed. Thanks.
Level 8, Area 24:
Should be "a giant toad" (singular), though the link is perfect.
Level 22, Area 24c:
Also Level 22, Area 26:

Hi there JonTheBold,
I've sorted out that toad!

I'll raise it with staff and double-check what the rule should be for such situations. :)

Shield of the Uven rune can be viewed but can't be added into any inventory whilst the other runic items can.
This is fixed. THanks.

Same issue here. Your suggestion sounds good enough for me. I am using it tonight!

Uncapitalised heresy.

In the app, section 4a, the link to "quaggoths" crashes the app.
Fixed in the update I got today.

Not sure this is the right place but just noticed this on level 2.
Area 10a. Skull in the Cube, the monster isn't closed out correctly to show as a link
While enlarged by the duergar skull, the [monster]giant ooze;gelatinous cube[monster] has the following modified statistics
Additionally in area 10c. Altar to Juiblex. In the last sentence of the first paragraph there is no space between the words magic and spell.
A detect magicspell
Going through the Maze Level soon and noticed a bug.
Level 12: Maze Level
9: Foggy Caves
In the Foggy Caves, it lists two Incubi as monsters. While highlighting the link will bring up the Succubus statblock, if you attempt to click on the link it will take you to https://www.dndbeyond.com/monsters/succubus-incubus , which ends up just being a 404. The proper link should just be https://www.dndbeyond.com/monsters/incubus
