Was trying to check skill improvements for my barbarian/bards expertise and noticed 3 of my skills had blue proficiency icons that didnt really change or show the expertise icon when itwas applied. This a bug? Or whats up? Maybe im missing something...
Blue means that you have manually edited those skills at some point. If you click on that skill it will open up a sidebar, and then you can go into "Customize". If you have edited anything in there, the skill will be in blue to show it has been manually edited.
I found the same thing for my stealth skill. Last time I used that character, it had its normal colour (white) and now it's blue. Also it's not customized at all.
Is it a bug, then? It's not affecting anything and the number is the one it should be. It's just blue for some reason
No, it means it has been customised. Click skill, click customise, empty all boxes there.

There is absolutely nothing there. It's not been customised at all. One day it was white and now it's blue. No item is affecting it either. I unequipped every single item possible and it's still blue.
I repeat, IT'S NOT CUSTOMISED AT ALL.
It's not an issue though. I just got curious as to why it's suddenly blue, but I have a +4 DEX and I'm not proficient in Stealth and the number for that skill is +4, so it's just fine. Just blue
The code to make it blue doesn't exist for anything outside of customisation. It's not possible even as a bug.
Either you missed something you or you have some extension affecting it.

Well, I'm telling you what I see and what I have for that specific skill. I don't know what else to say given that you don't seem to believe me.
I was just curious so I figured I'd ask. Doesn't affect my char sheet not the mechanic of that skill. It could be the Beyond20 extension (I've been using it for a few years now and it never made a skill blue) but tbh it's not worth the pointless back and forth.
I recreated your character down to the most minute detail (minus the homebrew items) and found that the only way to reproduce what you are seeing on your end is if the custom field has some input in it. This does NOT need to be an adjustment to the modifiers. It can be any text put into the text field right next to the modifiers even. See below for an example. I recommend you open your custom field up to see if there is a stray space added to one of those fields.

ahhhh i see
I didnt realize proficiency was auto-applied so i had manually set proficiency to reflect that

There was a space in the Skill Misc Bonus notes. That changed the color back to white.
Thank you for taking the time.
